May Matters Campaign Continues Pushing for Georgia Early Voting Locally
Georgia’s “May Matters” campaign is continuing to gain momentum as early voting turnout surges statewide. More than 230,000 Georgians cast ballots during the first week of early voting — a 28 percent increase compared to the same period in 2022 — signaling strong engagement ahead of this year’s primary elections.

Fifth Annual Electric Mobility Summit Draws Industry Leaders to Athens
More than 250 representatives from industry, government and academia gathered in Athens for the fifth annual Electric Mobility Summit at the University of Georgia. Organized by UGA’s Georgia Network for Electric Mobility, the summit centered on how emerging technologies can be more effectively integrated into real-world transportation systems across Georgia and the broader Southeast “Battery Belt.”
